Peshawar Hand Knotted Wool Rug, Gold and Rust Oushak Design

Peshawar rug in soft, sun washed colours. Large rust and terracotta palmettes and blossoms in the Oushak style are scattered across a pale gold field with small touches of blue, inside a matching border of leafy vines and palmettes. A relaxed, easy look that suits both traditional and modern rooms.

Hand knotted in Pakistan from 100% wool, with gentle natural shifts of colour across the field that give the rug depth. Finished with fringe at both ends.

One of a kind: the design is drawn freely and knotted by hand, so no two Peshawar rugs are alike.

Room size 8' x 11' (actual size 8'5 x 10'6). A medium wool pile that is soft underfoot, a good fit for a living room, dining room or bedroom.

Act quickly on spills by dabbing with a clean, dry cloth. For persistent stains, gently blot using a mild soap solution, then let the rug dry flat.

Use a handheld vacuum regularly, choosing the lowest power setting and avoiding the beater bar.

Initial fiber shedding is normal and will decrease with consistent vacuuming. Expect more shedding in the first few months.

When necessary, seek professional rug cleaning services.

Enhance safety and longevity by using a rug pad. This prevents slipping and protects both your rug and floor from damage.
